Araluen has a variety of activities available for our Onsite Groups
Whether Indoor or Outdoor, On-site or Off-site, (“Off-site” are provided by one of our many local activity providers), there are many different types of options available for you.
Our Activities Programmer is happy to provide you with assistance in planning your program before you arrive and leading activities during your stay with us.
We request that you contact us at least 5 weeks prior to arrival of your Group/School, to determine if there are any costs to conducting activities/games, organising availability of equipment & staff and to properly arrange how we assist and work in with your desired program.

ONSITE OUTDOOR ACTIVITIES: (Please provide at least 5 weeks notice if you require us to organise/conduct any Activities)
Archery* – A great activity for anyone who enjoys a challenge. First time archers are welcomed providing they are at least 10y/o. All sessions to be conducted under supervision of Araluen staff (or qualified Instructor).
Basketball & Trampolines* – B’ball ring and trampolines are available for casual (non-supervised) use.
Equilibreum/WhaleWatch* – Really good team building exercise, get the group to find the right balance on a platform built for approx 10 people at each end. Available for casual (non-supervised) use after brief instruction.
Beach Volleyball* – Very popular team building activity, simple to organise and participate in. Available for casual (non-supervised) use.
Initiatives* – A variety of different initiative exercises and games
are available on site to encourage team work and problem solving
e.g. Traverse, Equilibrium. (Requires prior organising).
Low Ropes Course*– 10 elements (continuous) designed to build confidence, teamwork and balancing skills. All sessions to be conducted under supervision of Araluen Staff (or qualified Instructor).
Team Games and Leadership Activities* – This type of activity depends on us identifying the requirements of each group and the format usually needs to be planned in consultation with the user group.
Orienteering* – Great exercise for encouraging teamwork and improving observation and navigation skills. This activity can be done individually or in small groups. (Requires prior organising).
Bushwalking* – Walks around town, along the Anglesea River, in the bush or along the cliff tops (sorry, Cliff Top walk has been closed). These can be done as guided walks or self-guided, by day & evening.
Sports Oval* – We have a sports oval available for your use. Organise your own team games, have a kick of the football, play cricket or soccer etc.
* Please note, activities must be requested/agreed to, a minimum of 5 weeks prior to your arrival if you require Camp staff to conduct or supervise.
Indoor facilities include a pool table, table tennis table, foosball and an air hockey table. (Available for casual use).
Trivia nights, Bible Quizzes and Wet Weather games
