The Araluen campsite is thoughtfully designed to assist teachers, parents and leaders to have a clear view of the main play areas and gathering areas.
All except two ensuite rooms open onto a central courtyard which lies between the main hall/dining room and the Upper Room, a medium sized carpeted meeting room.
Each ensuite room is carpeted and with double bunks, (rooms 9 & 10, 15 & 16 have Queen size double beds in the (a) rooms, unless removed for larger groups). There are ceiling mounted heater panels controlled by timers available for use in each ensuite bedding area.
A pillow and mattress protector are provided, you will need to bring sheets, doona (or sleeping bag), pillow case, towel(s) and toiletries with you.
Doonas, blankets and other needs are available on request for hire if required.
Overall we can accommodate up to 132 individuals, although family groups may like to consult with the Camp Manager to determine a comfortable layout.
Facilities cater for people needing disabled access with Room 8 especially designed for this requirement.
The Main Hall has an acoustic ceiling with a pool table and table tennis table, both located apart from the dining area.
The Upper Room provides an alternative indoors area away from the hall that’s suitable for light activities and small group time.
Smaller meeting rooms spread throughout the campsite also offer small group space.
For outside games/play there is a playground, beach volleyball court, basketball net area and grassed oval, plus pleasant retreat areas in our bushland on the campsite grounds.
Organised activity programs and sports equipment are available on site for group activities.

Overhead projector, video and DVD players, public address system, photocopying and fax are available upon request.
We have a long standing reputation for providing quality meals at a very reasonable cost.
Some groups prefer to self cater, which is an option for some times of the year.
Our kitchen does provide an 8 burner gas cooktop & oven, crockery, cutlery and various cooking utensils for self-catered groups, it is prudent to check with us as to what utensils and equipment is available.
